1. Preservation and standards on board
1.1 Protection of materials: It is forbidden to bring in outside food or drink without prior approval. This rule aims to guarantee the integrity and hygiene of luxury finishes (upholstery, teak and carpets).
1.2 Smoking Policy: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the yacht. Smoking is permitted exclusively on the bathing platform (stern). Failure to comply will result in immediate termination of the charter without refund.
1.3 Restriction on liquids: Drinks with an intense color (red wine, port, red fruit juices and similar) are not allowed on board due to the high risk of permanent damage to materials and fabrics.
1.4. Pets : Pets are not allowed on board.
2. Shipping Logistics (Base Ports)
2.1 Departure points: Our charters start and end exclusively at the defined base ports: Sesimbra, Setúbal, Troia or Albufeira, as selected and confirmed at the time of booking.
2.2 Punctuality: Check-in must take place 30 minutes before the scheduled time. Delays on the part of the client do not imply an extension of the contracted service hours, so as not to compromise the ship’s logistics.
2.3 Disembarkation logistics: Disembarkation must take place at the original port of departure, unless agreed in advance in writing by both parties.
3. Boat Use and Comfort
3.1. Full Use: All charters include access to social areas and cabins (according to the booking plan). Pre- and post-service professional cleaning is included in the price of the booking, guaranteeing a standard of excellence with no additional cleaning fees.
3.2 Extra Services: Requests for personalized catering, specific drinks or other concierge requests must be confirmed and awarded at least 48 hours before the event.
4. Cancellation and Refund Policy
4.1. Cancellation deadlines (Customer):
- More than 7 days before the date: Full refund (minus any administrative transaction costs).
- Between 6 and 3 days before the date: 50% refund of the total amount of the reservation.
- Less than 72 hours or No-Show: No refund.
4.2 Cancellation by the Company: Arrabida Yacht Charter reserves the right to cancel the service for reasons of safety (unfavorable weather conditions), technical breakdown or force majeure. In these cases, a new date or a full refund of the amount paid will be offered.
5. Liability, Insurance and Legality
5.1 Operating Entity: The operation is carried out by Following Emotions, Lda, registered with Turismo de Portugal under RNAAT no. 73/2010.
5.2 Insurance: The company has all the insurances required by Portuguese legislation for Maritime-Tourism activities (Civil Liability and Personal Accidents).
5.3 Damage due to Negligence: Any damage caused to the vessel by negligent, deliberate action or antisocial behavior by the client or guests will be quoted and charged in full to the reservation holder.
5.4 Captain’s authority: The Captain’s instructions are final and sovereign in all matters involving the safety of navigation, passengers and the integrity of the vessel.
